Robeco appoints client service manager


MEDIA RELEASE: Robeco Australia has appointed Julian Turner as client service manager responsible for supporting business relationships with institutional and wholesale clients.

Effective from today, Mr Turner will be based in the asset manager’s Sydney office.

He has over 25 years’ experience in the asset and investment management industry and joins Robeco from Yarra Capital Management where he was institutional client relationship manager. Prior to this, Mr. Turner held roles as account manager at Nikko Asset Management and senior manager of institutional client service at Macquarie Asset Management.

Head of Robeco Australia, Stephen Dennis, said: “Having Julian join the Australian business is a great outcome for our clients. As we continue to work more closely with our clients in finding investment solutions and helping them to achieve their specific sustainability goals, Julian’s wealth of experience and local industry knowledge will be invaluable.”

Robeco has a successful track record of serving clients in Australia and New Zealand and has approximately AUD 20 billion in assets under management as at 31 May 2021. Globally, Robeco has AUD 279 billion as at December 2020, of which more than 90 per cent is managed with an ESG focus.
