Schroders hires two business development managers


MEDIA RELEASE: Schroders has appointed Krista Laios (nee Demiris) and Nathan Dickinson as business development managers to bolster the company’s Intermediary sales team.

Krista joins from MLC and NAB, bringing over 11 years of financial services experience to the role. She has spent the past five years as an investment specialist within the asset management division of MLC. Prior to this, she was associate director for intermediary sales at NAB Capital Markets. She has held various business development, sales, and operations roles across NAB, MLC and AVIVA Australia. Krista is based in Melbourne.

Nathan Dickinson’s financial services career spans more than 17 years across sales and advice. Prior to joining Schroders, Nathan was an investment business development manager at MLC. Before entering sales in 2014, Nathan worked as a financial adviser at Centric Wealth and also held management roles with Zurich and Paragem. Nathan is based in Brisbane.

Ray Macken, head of sales at Schroders said Krista and Nathan’s experience and industry connections will bolster Schroders’ already strong business development team.

“Krista and Nathan both have proven track records, and their distribution expertise, along with their strong relationships with the financial advisory community, make them a great fit for our Intermediary team.

Krista has a Graduate Diploma of Business (Banking and Finance), a Bachelor of Music, and a Graduate Diploma of Education, from Monash University, as well as a several diplomas in financial markets and financial planning from the Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA) and Holmesglen.

Nathan has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from the University of Sydney and is a certified financial planner (CFP).
