Financial services communication expert Leeanne Bland has joined specialist public relations consultancy Pritchitt Partners as a senior account director.
Leeanne has more than 20 years’ financial services experience across all facets of internal and external communications including public relations consulting, communication strategy development and implementation, media relations and marketing, as well as writing for and editing a diverse range of publications.
In addition to her consulting experience, she has worked for organisations such as the ASX, Centric Wealth and AMP.
Leeanne’s journalist experience includes six years writing for and editing personal finance sections of The Sydney Morning Herald and the Melbourne Age. She was business editor of the website NEWS.com.au; editor of the FPA's Financial Planning magazine; a contributing writer to Money Management newspaper; and was founding editor of the PortfolioConstruction Journal. She has also freelanced for The Australian Financial Review, Personal Investor magazine, The Australian newspaper's Wealth section and Women's Money magazine, and has worked on a number of in-house publications.
Claudia Pritchitt, principal of Pritchitt Partners, said that recruiting Ms Bland was a major step in the development of the consultancy.
“Leeanne’s experience will bring additional knowledge and skills to benefit clients as well as new approaches to further improve the quality and range of services we provide,” she said.
Pritchitt Partners is a specialist financial and professional services consultancy. It recently formed a strategic alliance, The Value Alliance, with Julie Bennett’s 64 Media to work on joint activities and to enable each consultancy to provide additional services and backup for clients.
