Supporting Keep Australia Beautiful Week

This week is Keep Australia Beautiful week, raising awareness on the ways we can reduce the impact we have on our environment. It’s a time to reflect on what we do in our daily lives and the simple changes we can make to reduce the amount of pollution we leave behind.

At PB Comms we to are conscious about how we as individuals, and as a business, impact the world we live in. We’ve taken many steps to reduce our carbon footprint with the use of reusable cups for our coffee and tea consumption, off-setting carbon emissions for our flights, as well as moving to a more flexible digital workplace, reducing our use of paper.

As communications consultants working closely with financial services companies, we have been following the move to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) investing practices. These practices are entering the strategies of many of our clients’ funds and growing in importance to investors when selecting the companies they will invest in. Investors are increasingly interested in understanding the impact the businesses they are investing in will have in the future. The concept of ESG has also evolved over time and has extended to pollution management, health and safety, as well as philanthropy.

From individuals to corporations, we all can make small contributions to continue to keep Australia clean and sustainable for future generations.

We have made a donation to Keep Australia Beautiful this week. For more information about Keep Australia Beautiful, and to find out how you can help reduce your carbon footprint, visit their website: https://kab.org.au
