Financial services communications consultancy PritchittBland Communications (PB Comms) has appointed Renee Reid to the newly created role of senior account manager, bringing the team to seven.

Ms Reid is based in Sydney and will work with the business’s principals Claudia Pritchitt and Leeanne Bland to advise new and existing clients, including leveraging her marketing and operational background.

Ms Reid joins PB Comms from Elite Agent where she was a strategic account and operations manager focused on the development and execution of marketing strategies, as well as the growth of its national B2B print publication, and its podcasts and digital platforms.

Prior to this, she worked as an account manager at graphic design firm Synapsis Creative, where she was responsible for event management activities for key accounts, including clients within the financial services and wealth sector.

Ms Bland said that Ms Reid’s broad experience as an account and operations manager makes her an excellent addition to the team with a skill set that will be an asset to clients.

“Renee’s an experienced account manager and digital marketing specialist with a demonstrated history of working in media and client communications.

“Her experience in project management, events, and executing marketing activities across multiple platforms will stand her in good stead and bring added value to our clients’ marketing and public relations initiatives.”

The appointment comes at a time of growth for PB Comms, following the hire of Aneta Bajda-Majka in August 2022 as senior account manager. Ms Bajda-Majka was recently promoted to digital marketing director.

Ms Reid holds a Bachelor of Communication (Marketing and Public Relations) from Western Sydney University. She started with PritchittBland Communications on 3 April 2023.
